The automatic slag removal system allows a single operator to control the entire process using a “dead man’s” control device, ensuring immediate shutdown of the installation in case of emergency.

The deslagging manipulator automatically positions itself over the center of the furnace, picks up the slag, and precisely deposits it in the disposal container — without any direct intervention at the furnace mouth.

All operations are carried out remotely, avoiding operator exposure to extreme heat, metal splashes, or moisture-triggered explosions.

This drastically reduces occupational hazards in the melting area and improves compliance with health and safety standards.
