A larger volume of our electricity is being generated by natural gas combustion turbine facilities. Turbines are mass flow devices. They ingest a very large volume of ambient air which must be filtered before entering the turbine. The cleaner the air going into the turbine the higher level of output efficiency turbine systems can maintain. The filter house removes dust and dirt and must deal with ambient conditions such as humidity and moisture that can impact turbine performance.
